This is a beautiful wheel.  Please contact us with any questions before bidding.On Jul-21-08 at 23:33:03 PDT, seller added the following information:7/22:  Though we've never been asked before, we have had a query about whether this wheel is from a smoke and pet free environment.  This has never been in a home and our shop is smoke free.  However, this is a fiber/yarn/spinning shop and we are surrounded by wool, llama, alpaca, yak, chiengora, angora, tussah silk, mohair, yak, cotton, camel, corn silk, soy, about every kind of animal fiber one can find to spin.  The fiber on this bobbin in the photo is most likely Falklands.  It has been used as a display and floor model wheel. So, yes, a sheep has touched this touched this wheel and many different species of fleeces, both in the grease and scoured, have surrounded it for about a year.
