Description
Here is a new Skutt Automatic Kiln, Zone 10 (2350 F) with Zone Control and 3" brick; plus Furniture Kit consisting of 8 - half round zone 10 shelves and a 36 post assortment, plus floor stand. This kiln is large, and has a chamber 22.38" high and 27" tall. It is for 240 volts, 48 amps, phase 1 (conventional residential). Space from walls should be at least 18". Use 60 Amp circuit breaker. With cone 10, you can do stoneware and porcelain with ease. the Zone control is designed to make even an unbalanced load fire evenly. The instructions are clear, and there is in addition a video which instructs you how to operate the computer time pad on the kiln. Programming allows for much more flexibility, automatic operation, and control. This kiln has never ever been fired up or used at all! I have had it since purchased, but never had the time to use. There is a thin grey lid coating put on at the factory which is supposed to reduce the possibility of any brick dust coming off the lid. This coating (called "Sairset") is flaking off for some reason, and you can: 1) use as is 2) recoat top with "Sairset" ($9.50 pint from the Skutt factory) or you can buy a new lid ($183.00 plus shipping from Skutt). As you will see, I have more than taken into consideration of a new lid into my pricing! All else is New, Fresh, and Clean! The kiln and furniture kit list for about $2,865.00 (for example see same 3" brick auutomatic model WITHOUT Zone Control at A.R.T. Studio - Zone control worth about $125.00 more). Less $250 for a new lid and shipping would be $2,615. However, I am only asking for an initial bid of $1,495 !!! - And No Reserve! You can: 1. Save a lot of Money. 2. Get a New Kiln - instead of buying a used one that you really do not know the history of. The kiln comes apart easily in five sections, so it is not at all hard for you to transport. Pick up only near Plymouth, WI - about 50 mile north of Milwaukee -- about 60 miles south of Greenbay, WI. You can inspect before paying. No personal checks please - cash or money order. Payment expected within three days of end of auction. If you are considering purchasing a new or a used kiln - this is a heck of a deal! Bid now!
