hi, what you are looking now is one of the best of this kind,this marquetry frame is 220x150 cm and almost over 70 kg weight ,this frame dose not contain any drawing or coloring. the surface is smooth and co-ordinated enough to deceive amateur eyes,not realizing the combination of several hundred of tiny pieces,this frame is extremely similar to a painting.where as a painting is produced by the combination of colours,this marquetry is created by the juxtaposition of colored strips of wood,even the shadows of patterns are produced by the natural designs of wood. last supper has been made of carefully cutting different veneers of wood (46) into various shapes.this precisely cut pieces are glued into a solid stable surface.then,fills whith black polyester wax.a file removed the extra wax,which happens to cover the pattern,and after getting dried ,a thin layer of colourless transparent polyester wax is sprayed on the last supper,and then polished. last supper has been made of approx 4907 pieces and 2 years to be completed.
