Hope you like .I worked with textiles and clay but became fascinated with rug hooking . Had the help of some great teachers in technique and dyeing along the way .My rugs are hooked on quality burlap and with wool . I hand dye most of my colors . Many are my own design and seem to develop as i work , unless otherwise stated .A lot of my pieces are pictorial and often find a place on someone's wall rather than the floor . I add sleeves to assist doing . Many are inspired by my native NOVA SCOTIA .Thanks for looking ....Judy.Had fun with this one .. borrowed from an old quilt square and used  casserole dyeing  for center portion . I've used warm shades of red , coral , bronze & gold .Have left middle basically plain to accommodate a center piece ,and not cover pattern .Hand dyed wool on burlap . Mat measures  11" x 33" .
